Nice looking but disappointed in the durability
"I've sadly only had the blanket on my 22 year old paint horse for 10 days and there is already a small hole. He is not rough on blankets, as he is 22, and I was thrilled to see such a nice blanket on him. It is great at keeping him dry and clean but tearing so easily is an issue. This is by no means an issue from the seller- Schneider's has always been great but rather a manufacturing issue."
Blanket waterproofing will fail if washed in warm water
"A little known fact about Horseweare: if the blankets are not washed according to manufacturer instructions and instead washed in warm or hot water and or put in dryer, the waterproofing will fail and fabric fade. I love the fit for thoroughbreds but most blanket services wash on warm which ruin the blanket. The Rambos do offer a better warranty but need to follow wash instructions. Schneiders has a much better warranty on many of their blankets."
