The Original Heavyweight Blanket

This heavyweight stable blanket allows your horse to stay comfortable in cold weather. Breathable Dura-Nylon® 420 denier nylon outer keeps your horse from overheating and the "Original" Adjusta-Fit® System is designed to adjust the size of the neck up to 2", so you get a custom fit no matter the shape of your horse.

Designed to fit a variety of horse conformations especially those with a higher head carriage. Your horse will be warm and comfortable in a blanket that fits. Cutback wither to fit upright head carriages, providing a rub-free fit, leaves the mane uncovered.

Adjusta-Fit®- Adjusts for Your Perfect Fit!

From wide to narrow, high head carriage to low, the patented Adjusta-Fit® system customizes the neck opening to fit any horse width or head carriage. This unique feature is what allows the same sheet to fit both a wide Warmblood and a narrow Thoroughbred.

Heavyweight 440g of insulation for when the tempurature drops below 40 degrees F. If your horse has a medium or thick coat, Heavyweight blankets should be worn below 30 degrees F.

Maintenance Free Nylon Lining

Smooth, shiny nylon lining is 100% breathable and will leave your horse's coat shiny and dust free. The lining will not collect hair or shavings.

Surcingle and Leg Straps Stay in Place

Reinfored leg straps and a surcingle closure adjust to keep the blanket from sliding side to side. Comes with locking bands=for increased security. Brass plated hardware resists corrosion from moisture, manure and detergents

Closed Front Prevents Rubbing

Deep V Closed front has a deeper cut, allowing your horse's head down without pulling the blanket forward, avoiding discomfort or rubbing.

"When we were heading into the fall season, we were looking for a blanket that would provide warmth for the winter months. . Having reining horses, it was important to us that we had a cut back at the withers to protect their manes. We chose the closed front for our horses. The adjustment strap is there in case you need it. Overall the blanket fit our horses needs. Good quality material and nice wide leg straps.
