"I purchased both the 180 cm and 200 cm versions and definitely prefer the 200 cm. The added length provides much better reach; the 180 cm was never quite long enough to tap the horse when needed. Both whips are extremely lightweight and comfortable to use. I experienced no forearm strain at all, and they feel nearly effortless compared to most traditional lunging whips. A big plus is how compact they become—telescoping down to roughly 18–20 inches, which makes storage and transport very convenient. The only downside is durability. Once you’re finished using it, it’s best to collapse it immediately. It isn’t as robust as other lunging whips I’ve owned. I had the tip snap off when a trailer door blew shut in the wind and caught it."
