Pinnacle Replacement Gullet Plate

The Pinnacle Replacement Gullet Plate comes in 5 different sizes to accommodate various horse builds. You can choose from Narrow (195mm) in Blue, Medium Narrow (205mm) in Purple, Medium (215mm) in Green, Medium Wide (225mm) in Yellow, and Wide (235mm) in Red. Each size is color-coded to make selection and identification easy.

This replacement gullet plate is designed specifically for the Pinnacle Adjustable Gullet Close Contact Saddle (#44705) and the Schneiders® Monoflap Dressage Saddle (#46613). If you own either of these saddles, you can swap gullet plates to adjust the fit to your horse's unique shape.

The Pinnacle Replacement Gullet Plate is manufactured from 20400 ST SAE 1070 steel, which is then quenched to achieve the required hardness and resistance. This steel construction ensures durability and long-lasting performance, even with regular use.

A properly fitting gullet plate is essential for saddle fit and your horse's comfort. As your horse's body changes due to age, conditioning, or seasonal weight fluctuations, switching to a different gullet plate size allows you to customize your saddle's fit without purchasing an entirely new saddle. This adjustability helps ensure your horse stays comfortable and happy during riding.

The gullet plate sizes range from Narrow (195mm) to Wide (235mm), each color-coded for easy identification. To select the right size, you should assess your horse's withers width and conformation—your saddle fitter or the Schneider Saddlery team can help you determine which size will provide the best fit for your specific horse.

At $79.99, this replacement gullet plate is a cost-effective way to adapt an existing saddle to changes in your horse's fit without buying a new saddle. Since proper fit is critical for your horse's comfort and performance, investing in the right gullet plate can extend the life of your saddle and improve your horse's wellbeing.
