I solved that problem by color coding it with electrical tape. Works great. I love that I can unsnap the bit whenever I want to. Unfortunately when I bought it again in 2025 I was disappointed to find that the leather quality is not the same and now of poor quality and quite stiff. The horse size is now smaller compared to my 2022 purchase. The crown piece and the throat latch pieces are 2 different shades of brown. I hope the manufacturer brings back the quality of the 2022 piece."
