Great saddle, worth the purchase!
"This saddle fits my 16. 2hh Hanoverian gelding perfectly. In a dressage saddle, he’s a wide and needs an open head plate for his big moving shoulders. This saddle provides that freedom as well. It does not pinch or restrict his movement. It is not overly heavy either. I paired it with a 3/4” pad and a fleece girth. The pad stays tented and I don’t feel a lot of bulk under my leg. In fact, I think this saddle has helped encourage a following seat and correct leg placement. My only criticism is that I wish it came in dark oil and a different color under fleece. Also, because I’m so short (and therefore have to ride with short stirrups), I had to cover the Blevins buckles with vetwrap because they sit right at the rigging and dig into the latigo. Hoping to enjoy this saddle for many years to come and to dabble in trail and western dressage too!"
