"This is a great halter for the price! The “small horse” size fit my 3 year old warlander like it was made for her. The tooling is beautiful and makes for just enough “flash” without being distracting. The stitching is great quality and the leather is thick. Like any new leather piece, I would suggest giving it a little oiling just to help putting on and taking off the poll piece."

"I have a ton of halters, and this is definitely my most favorite one I’ve bought. I actually use this as an everyday halter, not a show one- wanted a leather halter that was “western”-like since I’m a western rider and wanted to match the rest of my tack. Fantastic quality leather- it is a pinch difficult to get the dust out of the tooling, but will hold up great if you take care of it regularly. Only docking a star bc the detail on one of the crown buckles was a bit funky/incomplete looking but I don’t mind it too much. Like other reviews, it does run a bit big. It does fit my ~ 16 hh QH/paint on the smallest hole on both sides of the crown piece."
Runs very large
"I bought this despite the reviews that said it runs large. For reference, my horse wears the Keenland deluxe QH size. This halter is beautiful, well made and nice leather. However it was unusably large on my horse. I had to return it. If they had it in a smaller size I would definitely buy it."

"Made in India. Leather is pretty thick and somewhat supple. I was expecting a little better quality for a leather halter with no silver at this price point. However, I've not seen any like it with the pretty buckles and tooling so it will work great for the ranch horse classes, as others have mentioned. For help with sizing, I've added a photo of my QH mare wearing the Full size halter in the smallest adjustments. She can wear a size large nylon Hamilton halter in the smallest hole, also pictured. So this halter does run a little large, but not entirely humongous."
I would love to purchase this in a cob size
"The halter was beautiful. Nice soft leather. Sadly it was way to big for my mare. I Sadly had to send it back. Shipping was super fast and the lady on the phone was very kind and helpful. They did not have another western halter in a cob size. Awaiting on my purchase refund."

"This is a very nice halter. It is simple but elegant. The only complaint is that is runs very large (doesnt fit either of my horses) and they only carry full size. I like it enough that I am going to have the nose taken in so that it fits my horse."
