Schneiders® Wide Stability Dressage Sitrrup Leathers

Schneiders Wide Stability Dressage Stirrup Leathers come in two lengths: 54" (adjusts 18"-25") and 60" (adjusts 20"-27"). Measure your current stirrup leather or consider your typical stirrup length—if you ride with longer stirrups or have a longer inseam, the 60" length is the better choice. One customer noted they ordered the shorter 54" size and found it too short, so it's worth double-checking your length needs before purchasing.

These stirrup leathers are crafted from grade A buffalo leather that's pre-stretched for durability and longevity. Buffalo leather is known for its strength and flexibility, making it ideal for stirrup leathers that need to withstand regular riding. Customers consistently praise the quality of the leather, with one reviewer noting they "love how secure these make my legs and seat feel" thanks to the reliable construction.

The 1¾" wide top of these stirrup leathers provides superior contact and stability along your leg, which is especially important in dressage where precision and secure positioning matter. The wider design reduces bulk under your leg for a more natural feel, and the smooth transition from stirrup leather to saddle flap adds comfort during long rides. One satisfied customer who was initially skeptical became "a believer" after experiencing the stability these wide leathers provide.

These Schneiders Wide Stability Dressage Stirrup Leathers are specifically designed for dressage saddles and feature a smooth transition to the saddle flap for a secure fit. They're sold in pairs and designed to work with standard dressage saddle attachments. If you're unsure about compatibility with your specific saddle, we recommend contacting Schneider Saddlery directly for guidance.

To maintain your buffalo leather stirrup leathers, regularly clean them with a damp cloth and condition with leather conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Since these leathers are pre-stretched, they're designed to hold their shape through regular use, but proper care will extend their lifespan. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or excessively dry conditions for extended periods.

At $114.99 per pair, these stirrup leathers offer excellent value given their grade A buffalo leather construction and stability-focused design. Customers consistently report that the wide leathers live up to their marketing claims, with one reviewer calling them "the BOMB" after being initially skeptical. If you're looking to improve your leg security and comfort in the saddle, these are a solid investment for serious dressage riders.
