"Wouldn't recommend this as the only blanket under a saddle, but as an extra pad or decorative overlay, this is perfect. I got it to use under a Natural Ride saddle, which is more like a bare back pad than an actual saddle and doesn't really need a blanket under it all, but the donkey who will be wearing it needs a little extra something, and this blanket fits the bill just right."
