"Been a long time "string style" hay bag user. Like. . . 20+ years, ever since I needed to move away from stable hay racks because I had piggy horses that emptied those in no time flat and then starved for eight or more hours. "Starved. " But then I started dealing with a lot of waste out into my barn aisle from them against the stall bars that I just dealt with and THEN my Irish filly got bigger. And bigger. And then I noticed she started walking away from her hay and just standing around dejected looking. Hung a camera in her stall and realized she couldn't get her big fat lips into the little slow feeder holes. I needed something sturdy and a little slow-feeder-ish, but could still give better access. The horses still munch off these all day and all night but my big (BIG) girl can easily eat now and is much happier. LOVE these bags. The straps make them easy to hang, love the d-ring on the bag to keep it from spinning, and added bonus I didn't think of, the solid back keeps the waste in the aisle to a bare minimum."

"I love this hay bag! I use it for trailering and for at shows. I like that my girl can have easy access to the hay from either the nice sized holes in front, or take from the top. She is a lean thoroughbred, so I like to ensure she has free choice 24/7, and this bag (unlike some hay bags that are slow feeders) allows her to eat pretty much unhindered. It's also very clean! Despite her pulling hay from the top, it didn't leave a mess. Very well designed!"
