Reviews

Great Product

"My horse loves this hay ball. He gets one every afternoon. It keeps him busy. Sometimes he shares with the two other horses beside him on their patios. He has become very popular with them. The hay ball is easy to fill. It cleans up with water. This is a great product."

— Diane P. (5/5)

Minis love it

"these Hay balls were recommended to us to try to limit the amount of food the Ponies taken since their minis. They seem to enjoy rolling it around and playing with it. Very sturdy. The Ponies have not had any problems getting anything stuck in there no feet nothing. I would love to get another one except they’re quite pricey. But worth the money thankfully I got it on sale."

— AMANDA C. (5/5)

Puzzle for a bored horse

"My mare is recovering from a laminitic crisis. She has been a free bird on 24/7 turn out for 4 years. Confinement is her nemesis. The hay ball keeps her entertained! It took 3 days to empty it at first but she has unlocked all the secrets now! Might try hanging it soon! A new puzzle."

— Laura C. (5/5)

Vinny loves his hay ball

"Vinny loves his hay ball so much! Some days it is a "soother" and other days it is an extra snack. Regardless of which day it is Vinny would not be happy without his hay ball! It is easy to load and holds a decent amount to keep him busy for quite awhile. It is especially useful at horse shows to keep him occupied during the down time between classes."

— Patricia H. (5/5)

Love this Ball

"My horse just loves this. It scared him the first couple of times but then it is like a treat"

Slow Feeder Hay Ball Keeps My Horses Busy

"I use the slow feeder hay ball to help keep my horses entertained overnight in their stalls. It lets me feed less hay and they seem to enjoy eating from it. It’s also a great way to use up loose hay. I’ve ordered 2 of them and am planning to get 1 more. Good product!"

— Billie D. (5/5)

Great product

"I like it! A seam did rip about an inch but didn’t affect the use. My horses like it. I don’t put a whole bale in it tho because I have a EMS horse. So far it’s great! I’d buy it again. My one horse has shoes on but he doesn’t paw at it but I’ve seen him stand on it. It is holding up well."

— Julie K. (5/5)

A hit!

"Even when my horses have access to hay nets, they'll often choose the hay ball first! It's easy to load, easy to clean, and keeps the girls busy."

— Lisa T. (5/5)

Q&A

Can hay cubes be used with the slow feed hay ball feeder?
Hello Sarah, The holes are 2.5 inches. You can use cubes in the feeder ball, but it may allow the cubes to pass through faster than you hope they will.
