How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. "This fly sheet is GREAT for hot summer days and sweaty horses! HOWEVER the material that this is made out of easily catches and rips on the velcro so they don’t last very long before a hole appears… I also found that this blanket fit smaller than normal. My horse wears a 80 or 81 in all of his clothes however I wish I would’ve sized up in this fly sheet as it was super tight around the neck and short on the body. I would suggest this product but warn of the above two things!"
