Medium weight is the blanket for the thirties and forties, when a sheet is not enough and a heavyweight is too much. The Dura-Nylon® V-Free® Bellyband 280g Stable Blanket carries 280 grams of fill under a breathable 420-denier Dura-Nylon® shell, up to 75% stronger than other nylon fabrics, with a smooth nylon lining that leaves the coat shiny and dust-free. 280 g fill. Clipped or short coat 35–50°F; medium or full coat 30–45°F. Designed with our V-Free® Wither Relief fit, this blanket is well suited for horses with a naturally sloped shoulder, moderately defined shorter wither, strong topline from wither to croup, and shorter coupled, well-muscled build. The patented Adjusta-Fit® system lets you customize the neck opening to help fit different widths and head carriages, up to 2 inches. Deep-V closed front that lets the head drop to graze without pulling the blanket forward, a bellyband that closes over the back with hook and loop, with an elastic insert for lying down, and brass-plated hardware that resists corrosion from fly spray and detergents. Black, Burgundy, Green, Navy, Purple, sizes 68 to 84 in even sizes; see the chart. 2-year warranty.

"I love this blanket, I have been using this exact blanket for many years on all my horses. It is a good weight, it holds up well and the belly band just makes it so much easier as well as gives more warmth and it is great to not have to bend under the horse looking for straps that usually get torn up. Great overall blanket."
"I never received the order. Thus I cannot comment on the stable blankets' fit, quality or weight. I am also very unhappy that the item was delivered and left unsigned for- in an incorrect address."
"Love this for layering. I have a show mare who lives out 24/7 and this is great for keeping a short coat in the winter time. Had it one season so far and it has held up fantastic and is easy to clean."
"this blanket survived our worse horse in the barn -normally we go thru 2 blanket repairs at least this one survived"
"This order came in quickly and the quality is better than I imagined. Very happy with my purchase!"
"Love this blanket, excellent fit!"
"Great price, high quality, and the adjustable features are perfect for fitting my Tennessee Walker’s shape just right. Keeps him cozy and warm in his stable during cold snaps and I love the green color I ordered! Thanks, Schneiders! I will be ordering a couple more of these blankets."
"Currently have 38 horses , Schneiders has the best quality blankets for warmth and durability I have a few that are over 5 years old. I recommend them to my boarders. Would like to have one for everyone . Im working on it LOL"
"This is my first blanket from Schneiders and I love it. It fits so well around the withers and doesn't rub the mane. I called with a concern and the customer service was TOP NOTCH. This is an amazing company and I'll definitely be using them in the future."
"This blanket is absolutely worth the price. The Schneiders® Adjusta-Fit® Dura-Nylon® V-Free® Closed Front Bellyband Medium Weight 280g Stable Blanket is warm, well-made, and fits beautifully. The material feels durable and high quality, and it provides just the right amount of warmth without being bulky. The bellyband and closed front design keep it secure and comfortable, even for horses that move around a lot in the stall. It holds up well, stays in place, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would definitely purchase this blanket again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, warm stable blanket."
