Medium weight is the blanket for the thirties and forties, when a sheet is not enough and a heavyweight is too much. The SuperQuilt® V-Free® 280g Stable Blanket carries 280 grams of fill under a 1200-denier SuperQuilt® woven polyester shell, our most durable medium weight, with a lifetime guarantee. 280 g fill. Clipped or short coat 35–50°F; medium or full coat 30–45°F. Designed with our V-Free® Wither Relief fit, this blanket is well suited for horses with a naturally sloped shoulder, moderately defined shorter wither, strong topline from wither to croup, and shorter coupled, well-muscled build. The patented Adjusta-Fit® system lets you customize the neck opening to help fit different widths and head carriages, up to 2 inches. Deep-V closed front that lets the head drop to graze without pulling the blanket forward, a single web surcingle with locking bands and reinforced leg straps, and brass-plated hardware that resists corrosion from fly spray and detergents. Black, sizes 68 to 86 in even sizes; see the chart. Lifetime guarantee.
A stable blanket stays on night after night, and a stable sheet keeps your horse clean and shiny for hours before a show, so the right fit keeps them comfortable either way. Find your horse’s conformation first, then choose how warm they need to be.
Designed with a Euro fit, this blanket accommodates both sloped and upright shoulder conformations and is well suited for horses with a low to flat shorter wither, balanced muscle tone, and smoother, flatter topline appearance.
Designed with our Cutback fit, this blanket is well suited for horses with a naturally sloped shoulder, low to flat shorter wither, nicely toned muscle, and flatter topline. The cutback wither leaves the mane untouched and is often suited to horses with a more upright head carriage or longer mane.
Designed with our V-Free® Wither Relief fit, this blanket is well suited for horses with a naturally sloped shoulder, moderately defined shorter wither, strong topline from wither to croup, and shorter coupled, well-muscled build.
Designed with our VTEK® Wither Relief fit, this blanket is well suited for horses with an upright shoulder, a high, very well-defined wither of moderate length, a balanced topline from wither to croup, strong muscling, and heavier bone structure.
Designed with our Senior VTEK® Wither Relief fit, this blanket is well suited for older horses with a high, prominent wither, sunken shoulders, a weakening topline, and protruding hip bones.

Temperature guidance from the Schneiders blanket warmth and temperature guide. Ranges are a starting point: barn temperature, clipping and how much your horse moves all shift them. Read the guide ›
A fine, tightly woven nylon shell that breathes through a long night indoors, so your horse is warm without cooking under it.
The everyday choice, and what most of the range is built from.
A visibly heavier weave for the horse who finds every loose thread, backed for life rather than for two years.
For hard wear, and for anyone tired of replacing a blanket a season.
None of these change how warm the blanket is. They change how it sits, how quickly it goes on, and where it might rub.
No chest hardware at all, so nothing there can rub.
Unbuckles at the chest, so nothing goes over the head.
A single strap at the girth that keeps the blanket from sliding side to side, with leg straps at the back.
Cross under the belly and keep the blanket from swinging.
A broad panel that closes the gap along the belly.

"Great fit and durability"
"I love this stable blanket. It is lightweight yet keeps him very warm under his schneiders Armourflex Warrior winter blanket. I live in Canada where the temps were at -40 celcius for a long stretch and when I would check his body it was always warm. It fits his body perfectly. He is 79 inches from chest to tail and the 80 couldn't be more perfect. I love that there is no tail piece so it allows the dock to breathe and there is no rubbing. It does not pull on his chest and the V free neck sits on his withers with no pressure. It was so great that I bought a second one as back up. I love Schneiders blankets and the delivery service to Canada is fantastic. I recieved both blankets within 3 days of ordering."
"Fits perfectly! Has a great weight that’s not too heavy. Does not cause any rub points."
"I love these adjustable Schneider blankets! They fit great on my quarter horses and they are durable too!"
