Wide-body design brings an unprecedented level of stability to a rider’s leg by providing a broader contact area on the saddle flap in this dressage style stirrup leather.
- Traditional 1 inch wide stirrup leathers have an inherent instability against the flap due to their height to width ratio; this either causes the two layers shift independently of one another, or the entire leather to rotate
- Stability Stirrup Leathers solve this problem by broadening the top layer of the leathers
- This allows for the top layer to have left and right contact points on the flap (traditional leathers do not), which in turn provides an unparalleled level of stability not possible in traditional stirrup leathers
- Unbelievably smooth feeling under the rider’s leg
- They smooth out the transition from stirrup leather to saddle flap to create a feeling of “no leathers” under the leg
- Wide portion of the leathers are made from a 4mm durable and supple buffalo hide to provide the necessary support for the stirrup leathers to function
- Remaining portion is made from an ultra-thin nylon webbing wrapped in soft calfskin, which keeps the bulk under the saddle skirt to an absolute minimum

"I absolutely love these stirrup leathers! They provide a smoothe and comfortable fit and helped quiet my leg. I wear chaps sometimes and used to be bothered/agitated by the feel of regular leathers. With these the leathers give me better contact and closer feel. My trainer tried them after I bought and she also loved them. Wish I had bought them sooner!"
