"These booties did their job and held up for the last half of a nasty New England fly season. My guy likes to criss cross rub his forelegs over each other and they held up to that! Only not 5 stars because I don't know longevity yet!"
"I ordered the Mosquito Mesh and received the Dura-Mesh by mistake. Having had an excellent experience with the Mosquito Mesh, I thought I'd give the Dura-Mesh a try, and was disappointed. They are far too heavy, cumbersome to fit, and slide down my horse's legs."
"I have 2 rescued senior horses in my back yard. . . . . one from a flooded lean to, by a creek and close by and the other from kill shelter. We have discovered that if you do something for one. . . you better do it with the other. . . . The flies are especially bad and I have discovered if I put 2 on each of their front legs, they don't seem to get flies on the back legs. . . weird. I guess I have our flies fooled. . . They work great and so far, they have not kicked them off. . . velcro is holding strong. . . ! We have fans in their stalls up high and along the main part of the barn. We have made it through the icky part of summer, pretty well so far. . . knock on wood. . . . You always send us quality products for our precious critters. . . of all kinds, so thanks to all. . . ."
"Unlike thee the others, these actually stay on! I waited to submit my review to see if they would or not, and I'm pleased to say they have stayed on"
"Works well on my 18. 2 gelding. The touch of pink really brings out his inner manhood ;)"
"They work great! They are loose fitting and closed with soft fabric at the top and bottom. There was less stomping. My horses did lose them when the mud got deep. My mare has thinner legs so she lost hers early."
"My horse has sensitive skin the cloth at the top and bottom of the fly boot is perfect. However, she is a thoroughbred, and the boots have a tendency to fly in all directions at a gallop. I would love a way to make them a little tighter at the bottom."
"Love these fly boots. Way better than my ShooFly ones. The velcro stays and they don't droop."
"These boots fit my Gypsy perfect."
