The drop on these sheets is longer than a stable sheet, allowing a slight wrap around the barrel. Darts at the hip form a contoured fit around the rump. Whether your horse is wide or narrow or has a high or low head carriage doesn't matter. The Adjust-Fit® feature runs along the neckline of the blanket, so when in use, it lifts the front chest, pulling the blanket up into the base of the neck. It allows you to fit any width or head carriage, saving money and time when blanketing your horses.

An Open Front Design with Front Snaps for Easy On and Off

The open front option features double front snaps with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of “snugness” at the front of the chest. Plus, the snaps make it easy to put on and remove.

SilverTek® Lined Chest, Shoulders, and Tail

A breathable 70D SilverTek® Nylon lining has been included on the front chest, shoulders, and tail flap. This technology has proven antibacterial properties that reduce rubs, odor, and irritations that may cause your horse discomfort during the hot summer months. When it comes into contact with bacteria or other microorganisms, the silver ions are released from the fabric, distributing their cell membranes and interfering with their metabolic processes. "I purchased my first Schneider’s mosquito mesh fly sheet for my paint/draft cross gelding to replace the Horseware Amigo fly sheet he came with, which had ripped. He’s on day turnout and has a lot of white hair/pink skin across his top line, so I wanted something that wouldn’t cook him in sweaty New England summers and would give him a bit of protection from sunburn. My horse enjoys a thorough roll to scratch his back and bum every day, but isn’t otherwise hard on his gear. Well, I purchased another Amigo fly sheet as a back-up when the Schneider’s one went to the blanket washer, but it didn’t even last 6 weeks. He tore it shoulders to hip - I don’t even know how. "I should have read all the negative reviews. Seems like they are aware of the belly band issue. I have no problems with the fit of other blankets in her usual size but this one doesn’t let me close the belly band even fully extended. My horse is not overweight.
