I have a Shetland pony

"I have a Shetland pony - 38" and bought both a mini and pony size muzzle as her measurements were more fitting to a mini size but she fits better in the pony size. I really like the option to customize it to fit her face and so far so good that she hasn't lost it in the pasture. Our only problem with any muzzle is that she ends up making the opening bigger on her own. Lets see how long she keeps this one intact!"

Works great

"My Kentucky Mtn horse was diagnosed with IR last year so I have to watch his intake of sugars and starch closely. I bought this grazing muzzle last year to allow him some turnout. It only took him 5 minutes to figure out how he could eat (very minimal) grass while wearing it. Now, when I come into his stall with the muzzle he happily wants it on to get his turnout and graze a little. After a year it is still in good shape and holding up. He also has heaves (a mild case) and doesn't have any issues breathing with it on either."

Does its job great and at a decent price!

"My favorite type of grazing muzzle and we Have been through a bunch of different types for my horse with chronic spring and fall flare up laminitis and equine metabolic syndrome! I have the one with the snap on it instead of velcro. These are not expensive and for the most part durable(my horse is pretty hard on them and she can’t get this one off! Plus the larger holes for nostrils means she can breath easier when it is scorching hot here in the south! She wears one quite a bit so we go thru 2 a year but for the price are worth every penny to keep her healthy! I have ordered this one again for this year and another that is the same thing but with fleece so will review that one later."

Grazing muzzle

"Super muzzle for the price."

Broke after 1 use

"Not for use in any type of group situation. Horse convinced a pasture buddy to help him get it off within 20 minutes and his buddy broke off both of the diagonal nose straps in one tug. That's $40 down the drain."

— Julia B. (1/5)

I am returning both and am disgruntled

"Sizing was way off. I bought a Large for my draft-cross and a Horse for my mid-sized mare. The product was labeled incorrectly, and I had to measure to see if there was any difference at all between the two. Product fit so tightly my big girl panicked, even with the extra big nostril holes. Product didn't remain on the horse for more than an hour--I ended up doing what I always have to do with muzzles--duct-taping it to a halter. The biggest problem is the eating hole. It's not positioned right. Too far forward for the horse to use--all they could do was stick their top lip through it. A huge waste of time and money. I'm sticking with my clumsy, heavy but sturdy muzzles."
