How Does Blue Light Therapy Work?
Blue light wavelengths are on the short end of the light spectrum, meaning they can only penetrate the body to a shallow level, just beneath the skin. The wavelength of Blue Light is 450 nm, and it can only treat conditions that are skin deep. Because this is a low level wavelength that treats surface issues only, a conductive gel is not needed.
One Kit, Multiple Areas
The blue light therapy kit comes with wraps and bell boots! Two medium LED pads (9” tall x 12” long) have a total length of 30” and wrap around the leg. Each medium wrap has 53 lights. Two bell boots that are one size that fits most, with an LED pad that is 4” deep x 12 ½” long to treat various areas on your horse's body, feet, knees, cannon bones, and hocks. Each bell boot contains 48 lights that cover the hoof, heel bulbs, and part of the pastern.
NO Cords To Get Tangled
This kit comes with rechargeable batteries and charging cord. All wraps have a self sticking hook and loop closure, and the battery packs have hook and loop backing that sticks to the wrap when in use. This means cords don’t get tangled up.
How To Use
Use as needed on skin issues one to two times a day. Limit treatment time to 20-30 minute intervals. Because this is a low level wavelength that treats surface issues only a conductive gel is not needed. Be sure to charge batteries before using. Batteries will last up to a week with normal use, if not longer. Do not use over open wounds or leave your horse unattended. Do not ride in wraps.
