Adjusta-Fit® Dura-Nylon® Big Fella V-Free® Open Front Draft Horse Stable Sheet

The Big Fella sizes are specifically designed for draft horses, large warmbloods, and halter horses. Compared to regular 84 & 86 blankets, Big Fella sizes are 2 inches broader in the shoulders and 3-4 inches deeper on the sides, giving you extra room where it counts for larger builds.

The Original Adjusta-Fit System features adjustable velcro closures on the neck that allow you to customize the fit by up to 2 inches. This means you can fine-tune the sheet to match your horse's unique neck shape, regardless of whether they have a thicker or slimmer neck.

Yes, many customers report excellent results with difficult-to-fit horses. The V-Free wither relief design prevents rubbing and relieves wither pressure for horses with moderate to low withers, while the broad shoulders and adjustable neck system accommodate various conformations that standard sheets often don't fit properly.

The sheet is made from extra tough, slick 420D nylon that's up to 75% stronger than other 420D nylon sheets on the market. Customers consistently praise its durability, with reports of it withstanding heavy use from rolling, rubbing, and rough handling without tearing or developing holes.

Absolutely. The Dura-Nylon sheet works great for maintaining your horse's coat, keeping them clean, and functions well as a blanket liner under heavier blankets. Its breathability makes it especially useful during changing weather or cool temperatures without causing overheating.

The sheet features a 2-buckle open front with hook and loop assist closure for easy on-and-off access. It also includes a low-set adjustable front surcingle and sewn-in hind surcingle, plus adjustable web leg straps to keep everything secure and in place.

Yes, many customers buy these sheets specifically for horse shows and traveling. The durable 420D nylon keeps your horse's coat clean and looking great while maintaining excellent durability for frequent use and transport.

If you find that regular size 84 & 86 blankets are too snug in the shoulders or too short in the body for your horse, the Big Fella sizes in the same measurements will provide the extra width and depth you need. The Adjusta-Fit neck system on any size ensures a custom fit regardless of your horse's neck shape.
