"My wife and I maintain hiking trails and the bags are perfect- top bag is removable so we keep our loppers, saws, and clippers in them and store the bags in the trailer during pleasure rides. The foldover tops to the side bags help keep out twigs, leaves, and whatever might be living on those twigs and leaves. Have no plans to see how effective they are at keeping out torrential rain! The bags are replacements for the same type used for many years- they had tolerated transporting tools, cabbage-sized rocks, sacks of salt, bundles of wooden stakes, and other things you d toss in the bed of the ranch truck while doing maintenance so we have confidence that the new bags will be as durable and forgiving of hard use."
