My all time favorite cinch!
"Love this mohair cinch from 5 Star, this is my second cinch from 5 Star. I've used this same exact cinch for years and then transitioned to a treeless saddle so I needed a smaller size. I did not even consider any other brands, this is my go-to all time favorite cinch! It's reliable, stands the test of time and I love the the leather keeper for the billet as well. I was happy to see Schneiders sells this brand !"
Super handmade quality but you'll probably wait a bit for it
"This was on backorder and it took almost 2 months to get it. But now received, I will say it is quality!! So soft!! and handmade in the USA. If this is what you need, it's worth the wait. At the largest point, it is 8 inches - wider than expected. I found no reviews from anyone or in the write up as to the pros and cons or why one would use this wide one in lieu of the straight mohair cinch. That would have been helpful for me in deciding between the options. Perhaps the equine world knows and I'm an oblivious uneducated consumer. I did want to do a mohair cinch instead of the other types as I think anything all natural is best. That being said, I have not decided if I'm going to keep it. I haven't used it yet and will talk it over with my trainer who I think uses a straight mohair. If I keep, my guy may not like it (i. e. not care for the width) and it may end up in my stash of cinches and bits. Only time will tell."
