Great Quality and Customer Service

"I have purchased several items for my granddaughters. It's always difficult to buy online. I always trust the exceptional quality of items sold by Schneiders and their customer service is absolutely great!"

Basically a good saddle but with deficiencies

"Basically a good saddle, generally satisfied. Deficiencies: nylon latigo is very frail; already fraying around cinch buckle holes. 2) insufficient adjustment in stirrups; I got this for my 6 & 7 year old granddaughters but can’t get stirrups short enough to be useful for them"

Great idea, needs small design change or two

"This is a wonderful, thick bareback pad - very comfortable! Fits a wide range of horses - everything from a TB cross to a medium pony. Girth and buckles are solid and well-designed. The stirrups are a great help for getting on and off. Because they are anchored low on the pad (rather than up on the tree as stirrups on a saddle would be), they need shorter "leathers" so they can be adjusted to reasonable lengths. I got around this y rolling the "leathers" just as one would on a saddle. More crucially, the strap to which the girth attaches is made of woven cloth and is not wide enough or heavy duty enough to take the pressure of the girth. It slides to one side of the buckle, wrinkles and can then pucker and slide over the buckle's prong, particularly if the underside of the pad gets wet after riding though puddles/ponds. This fabric really should be upgraded, or supported better. Finally, (again a small suggestion in the "it would be great, but not a deal-breaker") category, it would be awesome if there was a small roll or rise in the fabric at the back to hold a cantle back in place."
