Myler Black Seven Shank Low Port Comfort Bit

Overview

Myler Black Seven Shank Low Port Comfort Bit
This is a nice choice for horses at the intermediate levels of training and learning the more complex skills like bending, collection and lead changes. This bit applies direct pressure across the bars as it begins the introduction of tongue relief with the low port. The polished sweet iron comfort curved mouthpiece has copper inlay and is unlike traditional snaffles with its rotating barrel that avoids pain and discomfort. This bit has independent side movement to allow riders to isolate one side of the bit for sending clearer signals. The attractive black seven shanks with stainless steel dots and the mouthpiece will naturally rust over time.
  • Nice for teaching young horses to bend, balance and collect
  • Polished sweet iron mouth with copper inlay promotes salivation
  • Low port with a stainless barrel relieves some tongue pressure
  • Black 7” cheeks with stainless steel dots
  • Allows independent side movement for sending clearer signals
  • Applies pressure across the tongue while allowing some tongue relief
  • Black shank will naturally oxidize to an antique brown over time
  • Mouthpiece will rust over time to produce an even sweeter taste
  • Mouth: 5”
  • Cheek: 7”
  • Bar diameter: ½”
  • Center barrel: 1 1/16”
  • Level: 2

Gentle yet effective bit

"This is a great low level shank bit for creating a soft relaxed horse and allowing you to bend left and right as well as create softness vertically."

Kayla (5/5)

I will buy this bit again for my babies coming up.

"I switched my little Arabian mare from a ring snaffle to this bit. She LOVES it! She is relaxed and focused now during our training sessions. This is the perfect bit to help get your horse transitioned into a port bit! It's pretty too. I can use it while I'm showing."
