Extremely comfortable saddle!
"The padding in this seat is like a shock absorber for my rear-end! I couldn't believe it when I first rode in it. My horse is smooth, but even more so now. I like the rough out finish of it and the barbed-wire tooling. The oil is pretty heavy, can't wait until some of that works in more instead of on my jeans. Definitely recommend this saddle for any use, pleasure/trail riding to showing."

"I am very happy with the purchase of this saddle. This style of rough out/smooth leather is attractive and can be hard to find. Saddle is comfortable, lots of padding in the seat, however I find the fenders a bit stiff, but should break in ok. Maybe I just need to get used to the rough out leather. It doesn't have blevin buckles, has something else, like the blevin better. I did not have trouble with the in skirt rigging, as others have said. The d ring could be a little bigger, but I think the problem is the latigo that comes on the saddle is thick. Perhaps changing it out to a thinner one would help. The saddle is very heavily oiled, too much in my opinion, and it is darker than pictured. The oil gets on you when you ride."
Very comfortable but too narrow of a twist
"This is a very comfortable saddle, and my horse absolutely loved it. I hadn't felt him ride better ever. I also felt as if I was practically riding bareback. Very close contact! I ended up not keeping the saddle b/c I have some pelvic and low back issues, and therefore the twist on this saddle was too narrow for my seat bones. The other reason I gave this saddle a 4 star is that the ring the latigo goes through is built into the saddle (good thing) but only 1/2 of the ring is exposed and therefore it is hard to pull the latigo through. Besides that, this saddle is very well made and comfortable."
