"I recently hauled a new horse I bought about 8 hours in the trailer. I live in Phoenix and was hauling from Sante Fe, NM. My wife was concerned that these boots might be too hot for the large (17. 1 hh) TB to wear. Nonetheless I put these and brought him home with incident, without any signs of overheating or any signs of sweating or stress. He initially clomped around after the 1st 2 boots were strapped on, apparently since they felt different on his feet. However after we walked him around in a circle twice, he gladly let us put the other 2 boots on and he loaded totally fine. There wasn’t even a scratch on any of his legs."
