GutHealth® Xtra Strength Liquid
This aloe-based formula reduces stomach irritation and discomfort by working to reduce stomach acids, raising pH within the stomach without disturbing natural digestion. This allows the stomach and hind gut to stabilize allowing healing to begin. This formula is time released and begins working within 30 minutes and keeps working in time release phases for up to 4 hours. "How do you know for sure a certain product is working? You try a different one (this brand had become unavailable because they sold to this new company who, BTW, kept same recipe, but reduced the amount in the new bottle and nearly doubled the price). So I tried a different product because I had to give him something, he's 36 yo on day Bute for a deformity in his tendon/ankle/hoof. He started showing signs of stomach discomfort, i stopped the new one and went back to this brand, had to up the dose for about 2 months, now back to original daily of about 25-30 ml and some CBG DROPS in the morning"

"I purchased my first horse 4 months ago, and within a couple months of getting her I started noticing little things about her. She was a little thin when I got her, but increasing her hay and grain did not help; neither did worming or floating her teeth. She's always been quiet but seemed kind of dull. She's a pretty mover, but seemed unwilling to do so especially at the canter. She also had issues bending in one direction and became girthy, even started kicking at her belly when grooming her sides. She began refusing her grain and wasn't finishing her hay either. My instructor recognized these as a sign of ulcers. I did my research on treatment with omeprazole and was appalled at how expensive this drug is, yet it doesn't cure all types of ulcers and longterm use has the same negative side effects as it does in humans. But then, I happened upon this Gut Health product on Schneider's website. While reading the reviews on the Original Strength, I found others reported their horses with the same symptoms as my mare and they had great success with it. The ad had a link to the manufacturer's website, www.basicequinehealth.***, so I checked them out. Per mfr recommendations, I decided to order the Extra Strength formula first. She HATES taking medicine via syringe, so I was praying that she'd eat her grain with this stuff mixed in. And you know what? She ate it, and within a couple of days we started to notice changes in her. Her appetite returned, she perked up and the girthiness went away. Within just a couple of weeks she's moving more forward and bending nicely in both directions and overall seems happier. It has been a month since I started the Xtra Strength and I just ordered the Original Strength and will continue to give it to her for 3 more months per mfr instructions. My instructor commented that she never saw a horse with ulcers bounce back so quickly after treatment as my mare has, and I attribute her improvement to this product. I highly recommend it!"
