"I moved my thoroughbred from Florida to Utah in midwinter. He was shivering like a leaf in his old 400g fill heavyweight blanket the first night he was here. I put this on and he was toasty warm in minutes and hasn't been cold since, in wind, snow, and subzero temperatures out in the open at night! The neck closure is awesome and does not rub him - he has big shoulders and a very high wither so he is difficult to fit. He is out alone at the moment and we haven't had any rain so I can't comment on durability or waterproofing. I am very happy with it!"
