"I based my size of of some one else's comment I bought a large for my mare that wears a 74 had to return it glad they make that easy but bummed cause they are sold out now I really like it, now I have to wait till next year!"

"Normally, I don't write a review on newly purchased items. However, this item is a second purchase of the same product, except a little more versatility for myself being this is the light weight blanket with the lifetime warranty, I can switch in and out a liner or a sheet underneath this blanket for different types of weather, my other blanket has more insulation which makes it difficult to regulate the temperatures for my horse. Reason to pay more to get a lifetime guaranteed on the blanket, well, you know Horses â ¦"

"Fits perfect 72. My Arab is 15 hands. Easy to wash and dry looks brand new! His coat stays shiny I love this blanket! ( it's not waterproof) I did however spray it with waterproofing and if it's not pouring it keeps him dry!"

great cover but medium is more like a large
"Hooks match the D rings on my mare's V-Tek blankets. While she has a bit of a short neck for her size, she's almost 17 hands and like the other reviewers said, the medium is probably more like a large. I bought the medium as the other reviews suggested and it fit her perfectly. I got the sheet because the medium size covers with fill were sold out, but I think it is still helping. When it's back in stock I'll buy the neck cover with the lighter weight fill."
