"This is a great bridle/halter combo. My gelding is happy with its comfort (and he's a bit of a diva about comfortable tack). I like the quality of the leather, and the look is nice with just the right amount of brass without being gaudy. And the cross functionality is great, especially if you trail ride a lot. There is a bit of a learning curve with putting the bit in and clipping it, but once you get the hang of it and learn what works best for you and your horse, it's perfect."

Very intelligent design

"I have the black version and it is awesome. I have a walking horse but on mine, so it can be confusing which side is which when I take the bit in and out. I solved that problem by color coding it with electrical tape. Works great. I love that I can unsnap the bit whenever I want to. I also bought snap on nylon reins so if in an ouch I can use them as a lead rope."

Quality and size downgrade

"I bought this halter bridle in 2022 and loved it. Unfortunately when I bought it again in 2025 I was disappointed to find that the leather quality is not the same and now of poor quality and quite stiff. The horse size is now smaller compared to my 2022 purchase. The crown piece and the throat latch pieces are 2 different shades of brown. I hope the manufacturer brings back the quality of the 2022 piece."

Great choice for a halter-bridle combo

"I was thinking of buying a halter-bridle combo that was about half the price of this one, but I splurged and bought this one anyway. I am so happy I did! It's super soft leather, the color is wonderful and it fits very well. Furthermore, I can tell my horse is comfortable wearing this, and that's really important too. I bet it will last us many years with how well it's made. I may go back and buy the matching reigns now. The price is worth it and it was a good investment. My horse is a 13. 2 Morgan/Arabian for reference. The photo isn't edited."

Very good quality supple but

"Very good quality supple but strong leather with padding. Wipes easily clean. It's nice to only have to use 1 piece of tack to go from catching in the pasture to mounted and riding, especially if you are doing ground work as a warm up prior to riding. We've used this with several bits, from snaffles to a kimberwick and love the versatility."
