"Cavallo Trek boots are the best hoof protection for horses with hoof injuries, abscesses, or just sensitive soles. I have used one for several years on my Haflinger’s hoof when she has frequent abscesses or sore soles. They fit well, are very tough, and stay on through muddy or snowy conditions."

"I needed this for turnout since my older horse was foot sore. When I opened the box I thought they would not fit; I measured them exactly as instructed. But they fit very well and are easy to put on. They have stayed on better than I thought they would. Real ""shoe sucking"" mud will take them off, but if it's just wet they stay on. And I've seen the horse come galloping across the pasture with both boots on!"

"This is my third pair of Cavello Boots. I had purchased the first two for a horse with thin soles. He stepped out very nicely with his boots on. They are great for trail rides and road excursions. . . have never come off, even in the worst mud conditions! We even rode a few Dressage shows with boots on. New horse is a rescue with contracted heels and sore feet, now transitioning to barefoot. He is also more comfortable with these boots and pads."
