"We've been using this product here at What If Farms Horse and Donkey Sanctuary for years! (which is why we get the 4 pound bag because we have 15 equine's here in Florida weather!) We like both the powder and the paste. The paste is great for keeping things covered but the powder is great for when you need the area to "breathe" and yet still have the wonderful ingredients penetrate the skin. I highly recommend this product. We do use it in conjunction with other products just so, whatever condition we're dealing with doesn't get desensitized to it. But we always go back to this! Easy and effective Coat Defense Powder
"My PPID horse is susceptible to skin issues. Sweat lines around saddle pads and breast plate can result in oozing, matted sores on him even if I towel dry and brush. This powder has stopped those issues. I just shake it on his wet spots and rub it in with my hand. No more funky! I put some on his back under turnout rugs too. Smells good and does not irritate his skin or mine. The large bag is great for refilling the smaller shaker jar."
