"Our horse broke through the aisle guard. I blame some of this on the attachments we did on the walls for the guard, but some of the snaps also broke. The guard may work well when it is positioned as a gentle reminder to not go a certain way. We over estimated it's ability to deter/contain, and under estimated our horses desire to seek hay. I think this is a good product if used appropriately. . . . which I think we did not do. Yes. . . . we are new to the horse loving world. No horses harmed and lesson learned!"
"I never even knew this was a thing until it showed up in my search for a stall guard. But I bought it and I really like it. I bought it to section off part of the barn so that for my one horse, whose stall is at the end of the barn, I could leave his stall door open and have it basically be a run in. He is a small horse who doesn't test things, and it's worked out great so far. A couple of things I would say that might be helpful: 1. If your barn aisle is 12 feet wide, be sure you are installing this thing exactly perpendicular to the aisle. My husband installed it on the 4x4 support posts, and he put it on one side of one post and the other side of the other post, so it's not exactly perpendicular, and it barely closes. 2. Maybe make it a little higher than you think you need. We learned, as soon as we installed it, that we'd rather duck and go under it to get to the back of the barn, than open and close it. You probably will too. So make it a little higher so that ducking under is easier. 3. I don't know if it says this in the description, but you have to put screw in eye bolts in, four on each side. You can only screw them into something that's pretty solid AND wood, like our 4x4 support posts. Overall the quality seems great and it's been super useful to us."
"Excellent product !!"
"Best price I've found, one of the more attractive versions, and the usual Dura-Tech high quality. Couldn't be happier with it!"
"Great quality, fast shipping, perfect fit. Highly recommend!"
"Great quality! Looks fabulous."
"Built a new barn and the aisle guard is amazing - easy to clasp and unclasp and great quality."
"I bought these to go across the front of the Shelterlogic Corral Shelters. They will fit the 12x12 sized set up, I didn’t want to have to wrestle another metal corral panel, so I looked for a lighter option. I secure them with baling twine for easy break away and when the fireworks went off and it scared the horses into flight mode, they were able to break the twine before they took down my shelter and the stall guard panels stood up to it all. They are well made, easy to adjust for longer or smaller size and heavy duty."
"This is fine. I ordered it because I could get it in two different sizes, and I needed both sizes to create a stall in my run-in barn."
