"Before trying any natural fly repellant on a horse, we make sure it does not attract bees by spraying some on a cloth and hanging it near a water source where bees come to drink! Many essential oils like citronella may attract bees, but this formula does not. It works to repel biting gnats and flies that were attacking this summer everywhere the flysheet, mask and fly boots don't cover! The aroma seems to last several hours and it does not cause a reaction. We are also happy with Equiderma shampoo and conditioner."
