Farnam® SWAT® Fly Repellent Ointment is a gentle salve that protects wounds and abrasions from insects. It repels and kills house flies, stable flies, face flies, horn flies, mosquitoes, and gnats for hours, and is also effective in killing and deterring fleas, biting lice, and ticks on dogs. Simply apply the ointment on your horse or dog’s wounds and abrasions for optimal results as well as other sensitive areas, like the face, nose, belly, and ears.
Directions for use: Apply the ointment directly to superficial wounds, abrasions, sores, and scratches. Make sure you apply enough ointment to cover the wound and use it daily. Do not apply the salve on animals under 12 weeks of age.

"SWAT works great to keep pesky flies from gathering around my boys eyes and hoof area while they are grazing. A little goes a long way! I also apply under their jaw area, between their legs, on the rear below tail, and belly to deter those nasty no-see-um's. I highly recommend to keep a container in the saddle bag for trail use."

"I use swat in special places on my horse. During particular fly outbreaks, I spread it on lower legs and stifles. Sometimes underbelly. Helps to bolster the fly spray which is applied all over. During fire ant season, I find some swat rubbed well into the heel bulbs really prevents most ant bites on the heels and even up the legs. It’s nice in that it’s effects last for several days as well. I always have swat in my arsenal! Product arrived fresh and well packaged from Schneiders."
