Durable and easy to use

"I bought this to replace a Freedom Feeder net that I'd returned to another retailer after it started falling apart within about a month of starting to use it, leading my large pony to step in a hole in it and get stuck. I've been very satisfied with my choice of replacement so far! The Hay Chix net is made of nylon cord, and I've seen no signs of wear and tear. This really puts my mind at ease about the potential for the same safety issue I encountered with the Freedom Feeder net. Additionally, the hoggle and rope closure makes it incredibly easy to use. It really does fit a full small bale and then some, too! I tied a piece of baling twine and an extra heavy duty caribiner to the small heavy duty caribiner on the closed end of this net so I can hang it on a fence rail and keep it fully off the ground, and that's working great. The Hay Chix net also came with some extra cord and instructions for making repairs, which is a really nice touch! I was so impressed with the quality of this net and the documentation that came with it that I bought a second one."

Nothing like the hay chix I already have at home

"This hay bag is nothing like the hay chix hay bags I have at the barn. Very thin material compared to the others and the holes are much bigger. Usually my horses still have hay the next morning. This hay bag i shouldn't have even used. She didn't have much hay left 6 hours later. I should have just sent it back ."

Great net for use in a stock tank

"I got this to replace a less expensive one that I had. My horses tour holes all in the other one, and I was tired of repairing it. I use this in a stock tank and it’s secured through the drain hole in the bottom. The horses love it and I love that they’re not wasting $6 bales of hay by tossing it everywhere in the pasture! Also fots more than a bale for us, about a bale and a half."

Designed Well and Made in the USA

"Love these durable nets that fit a whole large bale. I purchased ten of them for the farm I manage, and they are working beautifully. I love how they are designed by working horse women. The rubber sliding closure is a great feature. They come with replacement string if you need to repair a hole."

Best bang for the buck!

"Best hay nets ever! They have survived camping, daily feeding and everything in between. Toughest ones ever and my horse has to contend with 1/4 inch holes! Hah, it makes him eat slower and they hay last longer!"

The perfect slow-feed solution

"I wanted my horses to have 24/7 forage without wasting hay, and this was the answer. So much easier to bag an entire bale at once rather than stuffing flake by flake, only to have to refill the net in a couple hours. With this net, one bale gives my two horses 24 hours of constant munching."

Love this product

"Best hay nets I've ever purchased"

I will continue to purchase the Hay Chix nets, if needed.

"We use the single bale hay net for our filly, in the stall. We are going to use the new to put a bale in the hay hut in her field. It works very well in the stall and should work just as well in the hay hut. I am very pleased with both the single bale net and the round bale net."

Buyer thumbs up, Horse thumbs down

"I love it, but my horse is annoyed with the small holes."

Great for slowing down hay burning pasture puffs!

"I have two pasture puff geldings. They have started overgrazing their paddocks now that it's the end of the growing season and we've started feeding our good quality hay. They were ""burning"" thru bales rather quickly and this has slowed them down a LOT!! One of my boys will stomp anything that frustrates him, and he has yet to destroy this net!"
