This adaptability makes it suitable for horses at different training levels and with different mouth shapes.

Bit sizing is critical for proper fit and safety, and we recommend double-checking your size selection carefully before ordering to ensure the correct dimensions arrive. If you have any questions about what size your horse needs, our team at Schneider Saddlery can help you determine the right fit.

Absolutely—this bit was designed specifically with young or inexperienced horses in mind, thanks to its soft plastic construction and forgiving design. The loose ring snaffle action combined with the gentle mouthpiece makes it an excellent choice for introducing horses to bit contact in a way that builds trust and confidence.

The mouthpiece is made from food-safe, flexible plastic that's reinforced with an internal steel cable for stability and durability. The material contains no plasticizers and is solvent-free, making it safe for extended use in your horse's mouth.

Because it's made from food-safe plastic and contains no harmful chemicals, you can rinse it with warm water and mild soap after each ride. The steel cable reinforcement ensures it holds up well to regular cleaning and daily use without degrading.
