The mouthpiece is made of a soft polyurethane molded mullen design, which offers a gentle feel compared to traditional metal bits. The cheeks are constructed from Level 1 finish durable stainless steel for a polished, long-lasting appearance.

The 67mm D-ring cheeks on this bit promote lateral guidance and stability, helping to keep steady contact and prevent the bit from moving excessively in the horse's mouth. This design is particularly helpful for young horses learning to respond to rein cues.

The stainless steel D-ring cheeks require minimal maintenance and won't rust, making them easy to care for with regular cleaning. The soft polyurethane mouthpiece should be rinsed after use to remove dirt and saliva, and it will maintain its durability with proper storage.
