- Directions: Section and plait your horses mane down as you normally would for jumper or dressage braids, and tie off. Roll the braid into a ball. Push the clip through the backside of the braid along your horse's crest. The middle prong will come through the front. Bend the prong to the side or upwards to secure. To remove simply unbend the middle prong and pull the clip out.
