"The shiny sticky trap of this stable fly trap catches an amazing amount of biting stable flies. I have been using this type of trap for many years and I am so glad Schneider's carries them. They are 25 miles away from our farm and offer free shipping over $100 which I use sometimes. It is easy to place over a push in white plastic fence post to push into the ground near your barn in the sun. This is an amazing product and you will be glad you tried it."

"The area on these are great - you can catch a massive number of adults if placed correctly. Placing correctly is difficult - where the flys are, so are the horses. you don't want horse tails, cat tails, etc to come in contact with these. My best bet has been to put these directly on the ground or bucket when horses are out of those areas. 2 traps were entirely covered in 2 days. I will be using these ongoing as part of my fly regimen."

Very effective fly control
"This will be my third year using Starbar Bite Free Stable Fly Trap and I am impressed with how well they work to trap Stable Flies. Within minutes of hanging the traps, I start to see trapped flies. They are incredibly sticky so unfortunately they trap lots of other flying creatures as well. It would be nice if the design kept birds from getting close to the trap fins."
