Finding the Right Fit
Measure once, order once. Most horses nail their size on the first try.

Gather Your SuppliesYou'll need a soft measuring tape. A second pair of hands helps keep it level.

Measure Chest to TailRun the tape from the center of the chest to the center of the tail. Keep it level.

Note the MeasurementRead the tape at the tail and record the number in inches.

Round Up If Between SizesAlways size up when you land between measurements.

Euro Fit Guide Designed with a Euro fit, this blanket accommodates both sloped and upright shoulder conformations and is well suited for horses with a low to flat shorter wither, balanced muscle tone, and smoother, flatter topline appearance. Measure chest to tail, along the side of the body across the widest part of the shoulder and hindquarters. If you land between sizes, size up — a snug fit causes pinching and rubs. "It's much too big for a new born AQHA foal. It will probably fit this fall at weaning time. Sure wish there was a tiny one so I didn't have to run down and get a dog blanket at the local ranch store that doesn't have expandable options. But those do work in a pinch when you don't have stalls for new babies and spring storms. I will keep for this fall. Came very fast! So that was great."

"I have a skinny 30 year old shetland with Cushings and laminitis. I desperately needed a blanket to keep him warm and dry thru 24/7 turnout in New England winters. He has successfully destroyed every blanket I have tried. The StormSheild foal blanket handles his rubbing, scratching and rolling. . Its outer layer is tough and totally waterproof. The wrap around bellyband and velcro front neck closure are flexible enough that he doesn’t fuss with them. I’m very impressed with this blanket. I would heartily recommend it."
