Heavy but functional
"So far I've only had one or two occasions to need these boots. Working in horse barns is my day job 6 days a week, from morning feed all day until evening feed. It hasn't rained enough in Maryland to need these until recently. Normally I wear some supportive waterproof sneakers if the grass is a little wet or I know I'm going to be using the hose on the horses, but these are good for when there is actual mud or nonstop rain. I find them to be a lot heavier than boots I've had that have been similar, so I've dropped a star for that reason. They are also a little large around the calf, so hay falls in since I'm often in riding pants which are snug to the leg. I cannot stand my toes being restricted too much, so I had to go with a size larger than what my heel really needs. I've found a lot of boots that is the case for me. So I swim in them a little, but a thicker sock helps. The cushioning in the sole is decent in terms of softness/give, but the shape is not the most ideal for me - I need a little more arch support. I'll probably end up trying some orthotic things if I have to wear these a lot. To their credit, they do not get hot like other rubber boots I've had, and they truly do keep my feet dry. So that is really nice. Time will tell if they hold up to years of use."

"Keeps your feet dry and clean. Nice snug fit so yuckies dont get into your boot. Heavy enough to offer protection but not so heavy they add extra work to your workday. Must have for all stall cleaners."
