Woof Wear Medical Hoof Boot

Overview

Woof Wear Medical Hoof Boot
This close fitting medical hoof boot is a temporary boot to keep wounds clean and hoof dressings intact, especially when dealing with abscesses, punctures or bruises. The medical boot has a durable Kevlar interior, rugged grooved sole and an asymmetrical zipper to enhance a snug fit. This boot is designed to fit tight so measuring the width carefully is imperative to ordering the correct size to maximize the benefits of the boot. Woof Wear Medical Boot

"This is a great medical boot that will stand up to your horse being left out in the pasture. The only caveat is you need to take it off EVERY DAY or more because the moisture captured inside will effect the coronet band and if you are dealing with a hoof or sole issue you do not want to add a coronet issue to it. The pair I bought I used on my mare’s hind hooves and I also added the suggested overreach boot. You will DEFINITELY need those too. I believe they were worth the investment."

Like the product just a little small

"The size chart is a little small."

Kari (3/5)

A must have for the barn

"Great solution for our mare that got a cut 1"" above her coronet band that was extremely difficult to wrap."

Erin (5/5)

Definitely should be part of every barn!

"My horse stepped on screw in center of hoof, needed to keep hoof clean and in a breathable boot. Have had cold, rainy miserable winter, these boots (ordered two for rotation) have saved my horse and me!! Thank you!"

Joni (5/5)

Well made & Durable

"I turn out my horse in these boots to keep his feet dry Fromm the dew. They are light & stay in place"

Turn G. (5/5)

Not at all durable

"I absolutely love the idea with the durable Kevlar sole and snug fitting top but the top is not at all durable and ripped apart after four uses. Even started splitting after being worn one night in a stall. Would love if they would keep trying and invent something similar with a more durable and waterproof top."

Sue (2/5)

TERRIBLE!!!!

"I had high hopes for this boot to help my horse recovering from an abcess. I turned him out in the indoor arena only and after only two turnouts the upper portion of the boot tore away from the bottom making it useless. I realize that they are not indestructable, but they should last a lot more than 2 turnouts. Very poor quality. Don't waste your money!!!"

runs small

"The horse had an odd shape hoof and did not fit boot at all. We measured hoof and order per online size but boot ran small and did not fit at all. May work better for a truly round hoof"

Cah (2/5)

I would highly recommend this product

"Quality Service boot for any type of foot injury"

Tina (5/5)

Excellent product!

"Recently had to pull the shoes on a horse with problem feet. Use them for turn out. She is very comfortable and they stay on"
