Key benefits

All-in-One Protection with Euro Combo Fit

From withers to tail, the Euro combo design with built-in neck cover ensures total coverage against wet, windy, and cold conditions. The seamless back and contoured fit minimize leaks and maximize comfort even in sideways sleet

Waterproof and Ready for Play

Made for horses who love a good gallop or roll, this blanket’s waterproof, windproof, and breathable design holds up to active wear. Your horse stays dry and comfy through all the seasons, no matter how rough their turnout routine.

Custom Warmth for Every Season

Whether your horse needs a turnout sheet for spring showers or a heavyweight blanket for deep winter, this blanket comes in multiple fill weights to match every climate and coat type.

StormShield® The Waterproofing Winner

More waterproof than competing brands, the Extreme series shrugs off rain and snow with its superior 1680D fabric. Built tough and tested in the worst conditions, it’s backed by a 3-year waterproof warranty for ultimate peace of mind.

Easy On, Easy Off

Front snaps with wide hook & loop closures make for quick changes and a secure, adjustable chest fit. Say goodbye to struggling with blanket swaps.

Shoulder-Friendly Freedom

Reinforced gussets stretch higher and forward to give your horse maximum mobility without rubbing, perfect for spirited play or long pasture days.

Snug Fit That Stays Put

Criss-cross surcingles and elastic leg straps hold the blanket in place, while chrome-plated hardware resists corrosion from rain, manure, and detergents.

Tail Protection

A large tail cover blocks wind and rain from sneaking in, adding extra warmth and dryness for the back end.

Reflective for Night Turnouts

Reflective thread woven into the trim increases visibility in low-light turnout conditions, keeping your horse safer at dusk and dawn.

Leg Straps Included

Elastic, adjustable leg straps (20"–38") move with your horse for a flexible, secure fit. Chrome-plated snaps make attaching and removing them a breeze.

Built to Last 2-Year Guarantee

StormShield® Contour Collar Classic II Bellyband Turnout Blanket

"I have always chose Schneiders for my Ali's blankets because of the service and the information/education prior to selecting the right fit. The fist blankets I purchased were worth the money spent as they are all still in excellent condition. Good quality fabrics and durability. My Ali loves his blankets! We thank you and appreciate your customer services! Carrie and Ali"

Awesome turnout blanket

"My horse Beau loves this blanket, this is the second winter I have used it and it still looks like brand new!! It fits perfectly and is the proper weight for our winters here in Northern Nevada! I also bought the matching turnout sheet because I like this blanket so much!! The color makes him look so handsome!! I will buy this blanket again!!"

BARBARA D. (5/5)

❤️ x TWO!

"I recently purchased this turnout blanket for a gelding who had surgery in February. He was kept under lights at the Veterinary Hospital and started to shed his coat. It was the perfect weight for what we needed and such good quality, we ended up buying a second one! We were especially excited about the two different closures offered. Very happy horse and human in Kansas!"

Shana D. (5/5)

Horrible blanket. Didn’t last 1

"Horrible blanket. Didn’t last 1 season. I sent pictures of the destruction and was told that they wouldn’t refund or replace it. I was offered a 20% coupon off a new blanket. I would seriously look at the year these sale blankets were made bc they won’t warranty them."

Darienne C. (5/5)

Storm shield Classic high neck turnout blanket

"Love it but unfortunately my 16 hand Tennessee Walker is too broad across the front so the blanket is not able to be secured the way it should be. Top chest buckle is on last possible extension and Velcro does not meet. Love the red stripping and the reflective detailing. Quality great—-horse too broad!"

JANET C. (3/5)

Fly sheet

"I have Tennessee Walkers and they have high withers so I had to order one size smaller so these sheets would not slide down off their withers. They keep the flys off so I’m happy"

AMY W. (5/5)

Room for Improvement

"I had higher hopes for this sheet. The hardware on the rear straps broke immediately. Additionally, it gets very damp under the the sheet. Otherwise, it fits my geriatric halflinger very well, I just wish it was higher quality for the price."

Megan D. (3/5)

Excellent

"This blanket is so easy to use and keeps my horse warm. I love the belly band and easy front closure. The color is fun too!"

AMANDA D. (5/5)

Florida cold snap

"We had recently adopted a senior rescue horse who still needed a bit more weight. Before the cold really had made way to us, I came out in the morning to find my old guy shivering (low 40’s). I immediately ordered a blanket from Schneiders and it arrived quickly so he was able to wear it before the colder temps arrived. Very easy to put on and it fit fantastic! He really seemed happy to have it on during the cold spell. Thanks to Schneiders for the great product and delivery!"

JULIE M. (5/5)

Waterproofing not great

"This is the 2rd sheet I have used, one being a replaced product for the first. Unfortunately, the waterproofing just doesn't hold up well anymore. I thought the first one was a fluke, but the second one wasn't much better. My horse is usually wet underneath, even when the sheets were brand new. I had purchased the same sheet years ago for another horse who lived outside and she was never ever wet underneath, even after standing out in rainstorms. The quality has gone down quite a bit."
