Dura-Tech® Nylon Hay Bag

The Dura-Tech Nylon Hay Bag measures 24 inches tall by 10 inches wide and holds up to 2 flakes of hay, with each flake equivalent to an average of 5 inches of first cutting hay. This size makes it ideal for horse trailers and stalls without taking up excessive space.

Yes, the bag is made from durable 600 denier PVC coated polyester with nylon web reinforcement, making it suitable for long-distance travel. Customers have reported excellent results using it for cross-country hauling, noting it's sturdy and holds up well to regular use.

The Dura-Tech bag can work for larger horses, though some owners with very large horses have noted the 8-inch diameter feeder hole may be small for horses that are aggressive eaters. It works better for horses that eat more slowly and deliberately.

The bag's design with an 8-inch diameter partitioned feeder hole slows your horse's eating pace, which minimizes hay waste. The reinforced hole is small enough to prevent horses from dragging hay out and soiling it with urine or water.

The Dura-Tech Nylon Hay Bag features nylon web loops that offer unlimited hanging options, making it easy to secure in trailers, stalls, or any space where you need to hang it. The flexible loops adapt to different hanging situations.

Yes, the hay bag can be easily customized with embroidery, monogramming, or screen printing, making it a great option for club awards, show prizes, or personal use. The durable material takes personalization well.

Customers report the bag is very easy to load due to its roomy design and large opening. The 600 denier PVC coated polyester material wipes clean easily, and the sturdy construction makes it simple to handle during filling and maintenance.
