It's available in three fits for all wither types and even senior horses. The advanced diamond interwoven mesh works like magic when it self-repairs against snags that could later turn into tears. When you see a snag, you simply rub the fabric between your hands to repair the fabric. Ripstop Material + SilverTek® Technology
The RipGuard Adjusta-Fit® Fly Sheets are constructed from a special diamond interwoven 350D ripstop mesh x 600D soft-interlocking mesh that self-repairs snags, which can lead to larger tears. When you see a small snag occur, you simply rub the fabric back and forth between your fingers to repair the material. This sheet allows for airflow perfect for horses living in moderate to warm climates with the best insect protection against small to medium-sized biting insects, like gnats and flies.
A breathable 70D SilverTek® Nylon lining has been included on the front chest, shoulders, and tail flap. This technology has proven antibacterial properties that reduce rubs, odor, and irritations. When it comes into contact with bacteria or other microorganisms, the silver ions are released from the fabric, distributing their cell membranes and interfering with their metabolic processes. As a result, growth is inhibited, reducing the number of bacteria on the fabric’s surface. This keeps your horse healthier and the fabric cleaner, even after extended use and wear.
All About The Senior VTEK® Wither Relief Fit
This sheet is specifically designed for a comfortable fit. The reinforced gussets are positioned for optimal freedom of movement, allowing your horse to graze, roll, or run easily. Our Senior VTEK ® Wither Relief fly sheets are designed to prevent rubbing and relieve pressure on your senior horse. The unique upward lift between the blanket and the point of the withers allows for space, with memory foam padding to fill in gaps that senior horses have between the base of their neck and shoulders. It includes extended coverage over the shoulder and withers for comfort and extends 6 to 8 inches onto the mane with fleece placed where the mane meets the sheet, further preventing rubbing. Plus, our original Adjusta-Fit system allows you to customize the fit of the neck opening to fit any horse. Whether your horse is wide or narrow or has a high or low head carriage doesn't matter.
Thoughtful Design and Secure Closures
This fly sheet is built with thoughtful features to make your horse more comfortable and your life easier. The open front design features double front buckles with new and improved wider hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of "snugness" at the front of the chest. The brass-plated surcingle closure is adjustable to ensure the perfect amount of snugness. It comes with detachable elastic leg straps that adjust up to 20-38" and keep the sheet in place while accommodating natural movement.
Safety in the Dark - Reflective Features
For extra safety precautions, we've added highly visible reflective stripes on the flanks and tail for extra visibility in low light and night turnout.

How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.

Great fit but too hot for Florida
"I wanted to like this it fits great, looks nice but after 1 hour of my horse wearing it he was sweaty. Putting it away for fall. My horse has year round allergies. In all fairness we live in Florida but this evening was not humid and it was mid 80's. It's only April. Still on the quest for the best summer fly sheet. Sticking to the Dura Tech material for summer even though the fit is not as good. It would be great if there were V Free and V Tek fitting in the Dura Tech material."

Doesn't fit quite right
"I'm actually not very thrilled with this sheet. I have a stock type APHA cowhorse/reiner with a very typical, yet refined build. Nothing off about her conformation. This is the only V-Free sheet I've had that doest fit her correctly. I did order her correct size as well. The wither area tries to slide way far back behindher wither, putting alot of pressure on her shoulders and rubbing hair off, regardless if I adjust it as tight as possible or as loose as possible. On the tightest setting it exposes her chest as if the front portion was made too short. It's been very frustrating as its a good looking sheet. Also to add, the first one I had ordered ripped on day one on her stall door and it did not infact self repair by rubbing it together, it was not fixable. So I had ordered a replacement with the warranty. I don't use it though because it makes her shoulders raw and sits too tight in the chest. Hope that helps people!"
