Dressage Clothing, Boots, and Helmets for Schooling and Competition

Dressage riders need the right apparel to ride their horses with the full connection they need to perform their best. Typically, dressage riders wear full-seat breeches. However, some riders may prefer riding tights while schooling. We carry dressage breeches in various colors, but dressage riders must wear white, beige, or cream for a show. Half chaps with paddock boots are acceptable for Fourth level and below, but dressage tall boots are suitable for all levels in black. Though dressage has always been known for the top hats in Grand Prix, most top riders, like Laura Graves, wear helmets for showing and training.
