Set up is quick and hassle-free. Operation is simple. The results are extraordinary.
Simply attach a hose from the incoming water source, start the battery igniter, and hot water will start flowing instantly. Control knobs regulate water temperature and flow. Select a single or double burner for a wider temperature range. The safety tilt switch ensures shutoff if the unit tips from the standard position. Automatic safety shut off after 20 minutes of non-use. Removable drain valve to avoid water pipe and regulator damage caused by freezing.
The Insta-Hot® 2 is small and portable. It measures: 22" x 12" x 7" and weighs just 18 lbs.
You can use the Insta-Hot® 2 at the barn, by the trailer, at horse shows, and more. Mount the Insta-Hot® temporarily in your wash stall or make it portable with the Easy-Up® Insta-Hot® 2 and Pro Cart. By using this cart, you can easily roll the unit right into your trailer, taking up little space in the tack room or wash stall. Don't forget to grab the Easy-Up® Basket for your cart. The louvered vent top keeps the heating unit clean, protected from falling debris, and creates a draft for efficient combustion - more heat, less gas. Use the removable drain valve to avoid water pipe and regulator damage caused by freezing.

The Insta-Hot® 2 requires a minimum of 20 PSI water pressure to run correctly. The safety tilt feature will not allow the unit to ignite if the unit is not 100% upright. Requires (4) AA batteries (not included). The unit should be stored in a dry and protected environment when not in use, drained completely and lines blown out before exposed to freezing temperatures.
You can use any standard 1/2" or 3/4" horse with the unit (larger diameter hoses decrease the pressure more). Any standard hose nozzle can be used, but we recommend a brass twist hose nozzle due to pressure to the unit.
Note: Our units have been tested up to 2,000ft above sea level, and we only recommend using them below 2,000 ft for maximum performance. For every 1,000ft above the recommended 2,000 ft, there will be a 10% decrease in efficiency and performance.

The warranty takes effect on the date of installation of the product, or 30 days after the date of purchase, whichever occurs first, and is effective until the specified anniversary of such date as follows: Item period of coverage: heat exchanger 1 year, all other and included accessories (shower head, hose, regulator, etc. 30 days). The Insta-Hot® 2 is not designed for freezing temps. To avoid cracked pipes, bring your unit inside and drain pipes by making sure the drain valve is open. You will also need to unhook the out-going water line to make sure the water is drained from the heat exchange unit. Insta-Hot® Rapid Freeze Fix can be used to prolong the life of your unit and "fix" cracked pipes temporarily.

Coverages are void if the unit is used in hot water circulation loops, in series with a circulation system, or where an on-demand recirculation system is incorporated.
This portable water heater is for outdoor, temporary use only. Do not permanently install. If permanently installed or installed indoors, this warranty is void.
When temperatures reach below freezing, drain the unit and then store the unit in an area above freezing temperatures.
