How do I know this fly sheet is right for my horse?
There are many factors to consider when choosing a fly sheet for your horse, including breathability, durability, and the amount of UV and insect protection the fly sheet offers. The RipStop fly sheets are right for your horse if you're looking for a material that's extremely breathable while providing protection from the sun and biting insects.

Our Euro fly sheets fit straight from the withers through the back for a comfortable fit for ALL breeds. This fly sheet comes up 4-6 inches onto the mane, fully covering the shoulders and withers. The Euro fly sheets also have no back seam and extra comfortable fleece at the withers to prevent rubbing.

The open front design features double front buckles with hook and loop closures, allowing you to easily adjust the fly sheet for the perfect amount of "snugness" at the front of the chest. Plus, the buckles make it easy to put on and remove.

Choose between a surcingle or bellyband closure for comfort and protection, with brass-plated hardware that resists corrosion from fly sprays and detergents.
The criss-cross surcingle closure option adjusts to keep the fly sheet from sliding side to side. Comes with locking bands and detachable elastic leg straps for increased security.
The bellyband closure option protects from flies and midges biting along the sensitive underbelly line. Hardware is positioned to avoid rubbing or poking while your horse is lying down, and the rear surcingle includes a stretch panel for more give as the horse moves since the proper fit is with the bellyband snug and flush to the belly.

How to Measure a Horse for a Blanket
The most accurate and easiest way to determine your horse’s blanket size is to measure along the side of their body, from chest to tail. First, stand the horse square on a flat surface. Measure from the center of the chest, straight back to the very edge of the tail. Make sure to measure along the widest part of their shoulder and hindquarters. The number of inches measured in this way is your horse’s size. Look on the size chart for any Schneiders blanket for this number of inches to order your horse’s perfect size.
